I found the bike largely straightforward to build, but strongly agree with the reviewer who said to use a 14mm wrench instead of the spanner they provide. (I used a 14mm rachet wrench with extender for most steps, but don't use it for the domed screws or you will break off the caps--just use a regular 14mm wrench for that step.) I could not have built it to a tight, strong level with just their multi-tool. Also have a hammer on hand to tap the black plastic sleeve on the lower bar into place before screwing it tighter. The instructions seem to skip that step and do not explain that the black sleeve is inserted and tapped into the opposite bar before adjusting the length. The black square piece becomes a protective receptacle for the male bar (as a sleeve, flush with the female length-bar) rather than staying on the male bar as it is shipped. It is a pocket, conceptually. Then you use the two very short screws to hold it into place, not the longer screws which are already in those side holes when it is shipped (and I could find no use for the longer screws after, since those holes are filled with the short screws now, just deep enough to hold the black sleeve into place but still allowing the male bar to be slid to adjust for length). So remove the longer screws and, after tapping the black sleeve into place, replace them with the short screws they also ship. The picture in the instructions mislead in showing the seatback to be of a certain shape. The upper part is actually wider, not narrowing as shown. Someone here on Amazon posted their own photos of an assembled bike, and I appreciate that, but note that they have fixed the seatback into an upside-down position by mistake (likely following the instructions' drawing too literally). This is wrong and causes the seat back to sit too low and not give enough support higher up the back. I would think that a tall person would find it uncomfortable if they have the seatback set upside down as shown in the private photos on this site. Instead, just assemble the seat back into the more intuitive position which makes it go higher up the frame, and you will be right.
